AkzoNobel are a leading global paints and coatings company and major producer of specialty chemicals. They create everyday essentials to make peoples lives more livable and inspiring.
With head quarters in Amsterdam, they employ around 45,000 people in 80 countries. Their portfolio includes well known brands such as Dulux, Sikkens, International, Interpon and Eka.
For over 10 years, AkzoNobel have been ranked highly in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. A key evaluating factor in this assessment is product stewardship.
Perro was initially commissioned to support AkzoNobel to internally communicate their Customer-Focused Product Stewardship Programme. Workshop style sessions were delivered to establish the most effective ways to communicate often complex areas. Visual styling and graphical components were then created from these workshop sessions.
The project cumulated with the production of a presentation document. The document follows and adheres to AkzoNobel’s current brand and communication guidelines. A video animation using the graphic components that Perro created was also produced.
