In 2021 we started to work with Margaret Woodliff Wright, The Northumberland Milliner, to design and develop a new website.
Margaret, based just North of Alnwick, Northumberland, is a couture milliner. Each hat, headpiece or accessory that she creates has been lovingly and painstakingly made by her, using classic handcrafted millinery techniques. Margaret has an eclectic millinery style with a particular interest in recycling and sustainability.
The new website communicates Margaret’s work to key audiences through distinctive occasion categorisation; Bridal, Mother of the Bride, Family Occasions, Race Day and Cocktail. Fantastic photography is used throughout to showcase how Margaret’s unique style makes the wearer feel completely and utterly special.
E-commerce development enables ‘Ready to Wear’ pieces to be purchased from an online store, and ‘Introduction to Millinery Courses’ can also be booked through the new website.
